Fort Rouge Transit Garage Announcement
Mayor Bowman and Prime Minister Trudeau announced a federal government partnership on transit infrastructure at the Fort Rouge Transit Garage. The $2.8 Million City of Winnipeg investment and the $2.5 Million federal investment support improvements to the Winnipeg Transit garage in South Osborne. This is a needed expansion project to grow the service.
