Ensuring reconciliation by responding to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action, realizing United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People at the Municipal level, supporting Winnipeg’s Indigenous Accord and building safer communities through working with drop-in centres and increasing resources for at-risk community members are some of my priorities.
