Pothole Repair

Posted on: August 7, 2024

It is important for residents to report potholes by contacting 311 or here

The City strives to repair potholes in a safe and cost-effective manner, keeping in mind safety, budget, personnel, and environmental concerns. An important part of street maintenance is repairing potholes. Depending on the situation, the pothole repair method may vary from the temporary repairs that crews make during the winter season and cold wet springtime conditions, to a pressurized-emulsion patch, to a longer-term hot asphalt repair under dry conditions.

If your vehicle is damaged by a pothole, please contact Manitoba Public Insurance via 204-985-7000. For Deaf Access TTY/TDD, call 204-985-8832.

You can also contact City Claims via 311 where you will be expected to provide a minimum of two estimates and arrange an appointment with a City Claims adjuster to see damage.
