Harvest Today and Economic Development of Winnipeg
I had the opportunity to meet with Harvest Today and Economic Development of Winnipeg to talk about food security and urban agriculture in Winnipeg.
Harvest Today is an agri-tech company that operates around the world. It’s amazing to see how Harvest Today innovated a “simple solution for indoor growing to empower small and large communities to produce accessible food in the area.” This innovation comes in the form of a “harvest wall.” The company offers 105 available sizes for their harvest wall.
One of the goals of Winnipeg Food Council is to enhance urban agriculture in our city. We need more innovative ways to tackle this, and I am happy to have learned more about Harvest Today
