Fort Rouge-East Fort Garry was proud to award a Winnipeg Wellness Grant in the amount of $9,975.00 to the Riverview Community Centre's Project WARMIR. Project WARMIR establishes and expands trails in the Riverview area (Churchill Parkway and Riverview Community Gardens) for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking which are all allowable activities under current provincial health guidelines. The Wellness Grant that our office provided went to support the upgrading of trail grooming equipment currently used by Riverview Community Centre volunteers to maintain these trails for all residents enjoyment. The money will fund a new quad and tracks.
