Fort Rouge-East Fort Garry was proud to award a Winnipeg Wellness Grant in the amount of $9,545.00 to the Rainbow Resource Centre. The Wellness Grant our office provided to the Rainbow Resource Centre will enable more robust online programming for 2SLGBTQ+ Older Adults by incorporating: online wellness activities (ie: yoga, qi gong), "Lunch and Learn" activities (ie: craft-ernoons, digital literacy workshops, health & wellness workshops), a monthly hot lunch delivery with the lunch and learn, an intergenerational book club partnered with the Rainbow Youth Program, as well as direct programming expenses.
